I could go on but I think most will get the point. The near hero worship and adoration of her by a group of what were strangers merely 72 hours earlier at the end was odd. One minute unbelievably ignorant about a situation but then instant light bulb and near expert level of explanation.

And the main character was written with a somewhat obnoxious mix of capability and vulnerability. Too often she tried to share knowledge about survival skills/camping/etc that did nothing to further the plot or character development.

The author kept using it to over-explain things. The story itself was ok but the dialogue between characters was unnatural.
